    Description

From Bern, head to Tiefenau through the Enge district and cross the Aare on the railway bridge. From Worblaufen, ride to the College of Agriculture, just south of Zollikofen on the edge of the forest. In Almitwald, cross the motorway at Forsthus and then climb a winding forest road through the Grauholzwald. A short descent takes you to Brünnliacker and Hueb, where the actual ascent to the Bantiger begins. Take a lane to Vordere Jucke, then over the Mülistei to the broadcasting tower on the Bantiger with its wonderful views over the city of Bern. The single-track descent runs along the southern ridge path to Ferenberg and through the Buechholz to Stettlen. Via Ostermundigen, you can either return directly to Bern or you can add the Ostermundigeberg to your tour with a descent to Gümligen. Ride through local streets through Elfenau back to central Bern.
