    Description

Ideally, the tour starts at the Landquart railway station above Kunkels Pass and then leads uphill to Pfäfers. From there, a long, gradual ascending stretch leads through the Taminatal valley. After Vättis, the route becomes steeper, but can be ridden without trouble. Kunkels Pass is easily reached. At the pass summit, there is a downhill trail on the other side of the meadow leading through the ravine. Follow this trail to where it crosses the mountain lane, then turn left onto the lane at the edge of the forest in the direction of Benis Boden. The descent to the banks of the Rhine begins near an old stable and leads on to Chur. To get back to Landquart, you can either take the train or ride along the right bank of the Rhine.
