    Description

High above the southern banks of Thunersee, there is a fantastic and little-known singletrail tour to the Greberegg. This tour offers an exciting ride and beautiful scenery.

From Spiez, ride via Hondrich and Aeschi towards Suldtal. In Aeschiried, turn left and climb up a steep path to Aeschiallmi with the fantastic views of Lake Thun. Now the road becomes a single track which you will follow on the ridge to Greberegg. At 1600 meters above sea level, you’ve now reached the highest point of this tour. The descent now leads through the wild and steep area north of the Morgenberghorn. The first section to Fulwasser is technically demanding. Soon, however, you will reach a forest road, which drops slightly down to the bridge over the Eybach, but then rises again until slightly below the Leissigbärgli Alp. Now begins the long descent to Lake Thun. This alternates between flowy trails, sections on forest roads, and challenging sections through dense forest. The most difficult sections can also be avoided by taking the mountain road instead. Above Därligen, you’ll climb a few metres again to reach the signposted mountain bike route which you will follow to Krattigen. On an agricultural lane, you will then reach Faulensee and get back on the main road to Spiez.
