    Description
    Corno Bussola
    Description

The Corno Bussola is 24 metres above the magical 3000-metre mark. But it has much more to offer than that! A variety of small mountain lakes at different levels, the direct view of Monte Rosa and Matterhorn and in the midst of a phenomenal Gratweg in the downhill.

From Brusson, take the road up to Estoul, the base of the small ski area. Ideally, you organise a shuttle bus for this route. Then you go into the ascent, in the summer months you can even count on the chairlift. Otherwise you climb up the gravel road, ride into the Vallone di Palasina and then arrive at the Lago della Battaglia. From here on pushing and carrying is needed. Climb up several steps until you come to a fork in the path just below the summit. Leave the bike here and walk up to the summit on foot. The view from here up in the direction of Monte Rosa is simply phenomenal! The descent then leads over the ridge to the Col de Palasinaz. The path appears to be very dangerous from above, but it is not. The ridge is wide enough, but sometimes very steep, and at one point the bike has to be pushed through a rock passage. Now back to the ascent route and then on singletrail past the Alps Merendioux, Quiappa, Chavannes and Brenguez back to Brusson. The final piece is once again a singletrail party!
