| Team Siemens-Cannondale: Alle CC-Fahrer in Athen |
|
Christoph Sauser: "The Olympic Games is the highest level of sporting competition! I am totally focused on them and I am putting everything into getting ready for 'take off' on the 28th August. On the start line I want to know that I prepared myself in the best possible way and I feel super competitive. When the start gun fires I hope everything will come together and then everything is possible." Roel Paulissen: "This will be the third time I compete in the Olympics after 1996 and 2000. It's a completely different type of event to what we usually do and its an amazing feeling to be in the Olympic Village with all these great athletes. I'm glad I have experience of the Olympics as its important not to be overawed. I trained on the track in January but it has apparently become a lot looser and slower since then." Fredrik Kessiakoff: "Sweden had a wild card for the Olympics so we weren't sure until just before Calgary that they had a place for sure, then on the Monday after Calgary the Swedish Olympic Committee told me the place was mine. I am so happy to have made it. It's also a great opportunity to get more awareness and recognition of mountain biking in Sweden where the last Olympic rider they had was in 1996." Jaroslav Kulhavy: "I am really happy to be taking part in my first Olympic Games. It is a real honour to represent my country at such an important event. The track is not really technical or too intensive, which are good conditions for me." www.siemensmobile-cannondale.com |
